Job Description:
This is a retained search assignment for a small, upscale full service hotel with strong group and corporate markets. Strong franchise affiliation. Good Executive Committee. Some hourly associates with strong potential to move into managerial positions.
Company owns majority of their hotels. Solid financially.
GM's are allowed to run their hotels. Reporting requirements are reasonable. Corporate staff is very supportive.
Keys for this company are people with excellent job stability. Many employees have been with company more than 7 years. Hotels are well run, profitable, and have been in the company many years. They need GM who can fine tune and tweak operations to increase margins a little more.
Job Requirements:
-At least several years as GM at the same full service hotel. (It is unlikely this client will consider people who have worked for more than 3 companies in the last 10 years.)
-Ideally will have had earlier experience in both sales and F&B.
-Knowledge of what it takes to operate award winning hotels helpful.
-Requires very strong references.
-Proven ability as a coach and mentor.
