Job Description:

 The Resort

Beautiful luxury resort with several restaurants, beautiful meeting facilities, and impeccably maintained grounds that are often used by groups for outdoor events. Owner wants to take resort to Five Star and has the financial resources and desire to do that. 

The Team

Many come from ultra luxury hotels and resorts. Work well together and share the same service philosophy. Enjoy interacting with each other and all feel comfortable offering comments and suggestions to any Department with the view to making this one of the finest resorts in the world. Executives have a great deal of confidence in themselves and each other, but there are no big egos.

The Clientele

Groups and transient guests often stay at several Five Star hotels/resorts during a year and often share experiences. Suggestions and comments given are an opportunity to continually improve service standards.

Job Requirements:

-Must have experience at actual Four or Five Star Hotel/Resort within last 5 years.

-Recent experience at resorts generating $30-40 MM in F&B revenues.

-Provide wonderful service, without it being stilted. 

-Experience with traditional fine dining restaurant as well as theme restaurants.

-F&B management team needs to continually interact with guests.

-Instill need for ongoing training of management and hourly associates. 

-Comfortable with long term employees. (Many have been with the resort their entire careers.)

-Enjoy selling concepts and ideas to Executive and Management team.

-Experience dealing with seasonal swings. Resort is not highly seasonal, but business mix between groups and transient has significant seasonality.

Compensation

Salary will depend on what the candidate can bring to the table and how they can contribute to improved service and profitability.
