Very well maintained hotel that is owned and managed by long established hotel management company. Hotel is considered one of the leaders in the city.
Job Summary: Responsibilities would include day-to-day and long-term operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by directing and supervising room attendants, house persons, laundry attendants and housekeeping inspectors. Our highly motivated candidate must have previous supervisory experience within a Housekeeping Department. This is a full time position. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Job Responsibilities: Inspect guestrooms, public areas and back of the house to ensure standards of cleanliness. Monitor laundry staff, chemical usage and linen quality. Administrative duties: payroll, inventory, filing and organizing. Must be able to manage the selection, training, development, motivation, and discipline of employees with an eye toward maximum productivity and guest satisfaction. Conduct performance reviews. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of Housekeeping supervisory experience.
Prefer experience at full service hotel with at least 150 rooms.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communications and guest relation skills.
Able to train, motivate, coach and counsel staff.
Mobility to inspect rooms and all other housekeeping areas in hotel.
