VAREY ASSOCIATES was established in 1990. As the Owner and President, I realized that there was, unfortunately, a shortage of executive search firms that truly believed in really matching the client company with the ideal candidate/new employee. As well, I realized there was really an abundance of unique questions one must ask both the candidate and the client to get a total mental picture of the ideal employment match.

You will be in charge of 1.5 - 2.5 million F&B in a high end corporate hotel - just under 320 rooms.
As number two in the property, you will oversee F&B and go through a unique self stylized training program - for grooming within this well respected hotel company - to General Manager within a short period of time. (Normall 1-21/2 years only!)
You will be able to implement your own intelligent ideas as well as sound Standard Operating Procedures of this 70 years plus hotel corporation.
You can look forward to working for an exciting, major award winning corporate hotel company that promotes based upon your own individual performance. As well, you can utilize your leadership skills, knowledge of hotel uipscale or quality F&B FOH operations experience as a manager. If you have any F&B BOH experience in the kitchen that is a big plus.
You should understand your departmental P&L, forecasting, scheduling, food & labor costs, GSI scores, and employee satisfaction scores. You should be very into exceeding guest satisfaction, a hands on/motivational manager, driven to succeed, constantly strive to raise the standards/bar, and a fast tracker.
As a leader, you will have a college education, preferably four years, and be passionate about the hotel industry, as you will be representing the cream of the crop!!

You will presently be a Director of F&B, or Assistant Director of F&B, or Restaurant Mgr., or Multi unit F&B Mgr., or Rooms Division Mgr with a solid background in upscale/quality oriented hotels. You will not be a job hopper and totally committed to the hotel industry. As well, you will have a four year college degree or a culinary degree. Experience in the kitchen overseeing or enough exposure, is a big plus. However, you do not have to have been a cook.
You will be a leader, a fast tracker, career oriented, always striving to improve standards, college educated, open to learning, very Guest Service and HR oriented. You will be looking for a fast spring board in a very well respected hotel company to grow quickly from number two in the hotel to number one, as this company offers a unique and very well respected fast track training program to GM!! (1-3 yrs maximum). As well, it offers an above average base salary, plus a 50% commission, benefits, and relocation paid!!
