We are a 30+ year company providing innovative employment solutions to the hotel industry. We have been hired by this resort client as their advertising source.
-Several management companies are poised for growth. They have asked us to compile short list of candidates for VP or Regional VP Operations. VP positions will be headquartered at corporate office in one of above cities. Regional VP's will be headquartered from city in region assigned. That will depend on where additional properties are acquired. Companies have investors who have committed the cash to enable acquisition of hotels, typically in the 100-300 room range, both full service and select service.
-Companies are interested in candidates who currently have multi-property responsibility.
-These companies are established with good track record of job stability. Companies with Regional VP opportunities have already promoted internally where possible. VP Operations are additional positions needing solid experience of executives who have been over at least 8-10 hotels. Internal candidates don't have the depth to step up as yet.
Job Requirements:
-Currently employed in multi-property operational role, with responsibility for at least 1-2 full service hotels. (Ideal would be 5-8 full service hotels. (If your experience is primarily with select service hotels please see and respond to the ad for select service Regional Directors of Operations.)
-Must be able to show how you have driven business and exceeded comp sets in 2009. These clients are looking for people who can demonstrate how they made lemonade from lemons.
-Track record of developing people who have been promoted.
-Solid understanding on how electronic mediums are influencing hotels and how to drive them instead of being driven by them.
-Actual experience in F&B helpful (at least at the level of F&B Director.)
