Job Description:

 Management company is being considered by several entities to manage their select service hotel portfolios, requiring a rapid build up of the company. Reg. Dir may operate out of corporate office or be located close to their group of properties. Where? That's the question. Owner would like to keep Reg Dir as close to their current location as practical, but it will depend on where properties are.

Company is headed by dynamic President with extensive corporate experience in the hotel industry. 

Job Requirements:

 -Proven mentor. President will want to promote as many people as possible as the company grows. He believes that each person needs to be developing successors so they in turn can be promoted. 

-Portfolio will consist of up-market select service hotels with highly desired franchise affiliations.

-Hotels have strong GM's and larger sales teams than is the norm. President believes in generating more business and was extremely successful doing that in 2009. (Exceeded plan, revenue, ADR, and REVPAR. Not by much, but they did it.)

-Must have excellent job stability. (Majority of management teams who have worked with him have done so for a minimum of 5 years and many over 10. President understands hotels have difficulty leading their markets year-in year-out unless there is strong stability in the management team and hourly staff. President considers 15% annual turnover acceptable. Higher turnover is going to get scrutinized carefully. President believes it is the role of GM's to make sure their teams are properly trained and motivated and that hotels consistently receive outstanding guest comment ratings.)

-Regional Directors are expected to be strong when it comes to guiding and mentoring sales teams. They also need to thoroughly understand eCommerce opportunities.
